Dr. Kara Ballek
Dr. Ballek is an energetic individual with a deep passion for animal care and their well being. Her career as a Veterinarian was born out of a childhood love for her family pets and any other animals that crossed her path.
After a very successful academic career in Saucon Valley School District, Kara attended the Pennsylvania State University majoring in Animal Bio-Science. Upon graduating at the head of her class from Penn State, Dr. Ballek continued the pursuit of her dream career at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. During Vet School, Kara worked part-time at the Quakertown Veterinary Clinic, and accepted an Associate Veterinarian position at QVC after graduating from Penn. Dr. Ballek eventually transitioned into a similar position at Lehigh Valley Animal Hospital, where she spent nine years of her career prior to opening Creekview Veterinary Hospital.
In her personal life, Kara resides with her life partner and CEO, Mike Meixell, PE. Their household consists of a small zoo of seven; two rescued beagles and five cats, including a 3-legged and a blind cat. Dr. Ballek is also an avid Penn State Football fan, loves beach life (including Jimmy Buffet music) and is a bit of a wine enthusiast.

Marcy has always had a love for animals and parlayed that into a successful career in the veterinary medicine industry. Her path began by volunteering for a local Veterinarian in her hometown of Pemberton, New Jersey and most recently brought her to Creekview Veterinary Hospital.
Upon graduating from high school, Marcy entered the Animal Science Program at the Camden County Community College. She relocated to Center Valley with her husband in 1979. After raising their family, Marcy returned to the animal realm in 1990 when she accepted a position at Quakertown Veterinary Clinic. In addition to 23 years service at QVC, she also spent nearly 3 years at Millpond Veterinary Clinic before joining the Team at Creekview.
Personally, Marcy is a fixture in the Coopersburg community. While their 3 children (2 boys and 1 girl) have relocated, she and her husband remain in Center Valley, and share their home with a very loving Jack Russell Terrier named Trip. They both enjoy spending time with their growing family, which now includes 3 very active grandsons.
